When our son was born, we suddenly had a whole new reason to explore Sarasota. Weekend farmers markets, holiday festivals, and all those community events that make a place feel like home.

The problem? Finding them was a scavenger hunt. Some events lived on Facebook. Others were buried in calendars. And we'd often hear about great stuff after it happened.

So we started keeping a list. And eventually, that list became SRQ Weekly.

Every Tuesday morning, we send out a curated roundup of what's happening around Sarasota—festivals, community events, family-friendly happenings, and a few can't-miss shows.

Not everything, just the good stuff. The kind of events that make you say "oh, we should do that" instead of scrolling past.

We're always looking for the next great thing to do around here—and we love sharing what we find.
